Twins/2

The fifth teapot has an unknown origin. It was a gift from my friend Ana and she inherited it from a distant old cousin. Basically, I chose it for its original shape. Stem stitch, back stitch, french knot and buttonhole stitch were used for the embroidery.
And now only one is missing!

I was curious to know if other crafters (quilters) were inspired by teapots. Look what I found here, here, here and here.

I have made two wall hangings using my teapots as patterns. If you are interested I was working on them in May and June of 06. I had a lot of comments from people who collect teapots so you are not alone there. I really like what you have done with yours as inspiration.

The special thing about your piece is that you are using your own teapots as part of the project. You will be able to have the quilt to show beside the teapots. And it will be wonderful and one of a kind!!
